Kuta beach is a hive of activity during the day and you can guarantee you will be able to find someone with a surfboard for rent if you didn’t pack your own. Prices are cheap and can be negotiated. Surfboards for the hour generally rent for about $8 AU. You can also negotiate rates for the length of your stay on the Island.

Generally the normal surf rules apply. Don’t drop in on anyone. Expect allot of learners around and locals. The locals pretty much have the right of way what ever the situation however so be patient.
