Sanur Sindu beach, Bali
Sanur, Bali is an upscale resort area that is very popular with the older crowds and although it has a plethora of hotels and restaurants, it has a relaxed atmosphere and a laid back feel. Sanur is a short ride from the Ngurah Rai International airport or it can be reached by boat from Nusa Lembongan.
Watersports and white sand beaches are the order of the day at Sanur and although the surfing is not great, there is a nice offshore break during northwestern winds. There are several dive shops offering instruction and trips and for those who neither surf nor dive, there is kite boarding, windsurfing, parasailing and jet skis.
Sanur offers fine dining, excellent accommodations, shopping and lively nightlife.
