Trendy and cosmopolitan Seminyak is the destination of choice for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Located at the southern part of beautiful Bali, Seminyak attracts the younger trendsetter crowd with its vibrant and energetic nightspots, restaurants, and bars. The establishments are open till late, especially during Friday nights and weekends when the crowds are bigger than usual.
Entertainment options can be found in the hippest establishments near the beach or in downtown Seminyak. The younger crowd usually congregates at places like Double Six and Syndicate Club near the beach, to enjoy fresh beats and live entertainment. Double Six, a Bali entertainment institution, regularly hosts different events at their poolside venue.
The Jalan Double Six area has several bars and restaurants that cater to the more laid back crowd. The Crystal Palace is located in this area of Seminyak. This beachfront establishment features live bands and entertainment. The local expatriate community often congregates in Warung Melati, a popular option for good Indonesian food.
In downtown Seminyak, Jalan Laksmana is also affectionately known as “eat street.” Dining and drinking establishments are lined up along the road, almost always filled with the weekend crowds. KuDeta, one of Seminyak’s more popular beach dives, attracts a more varied crowd. Here, visitors can enjoy a drink or two with their meal while enjoying the surf and night sky. Within the same area is the Wah Wah Gourmet Burger and Wine Bar, a slick and modern establishment where visitors can enjoy their burgers with a fine glass of wine.
